About Robert
BA Economics (University of Leicester) and PGCE in Business & Economics Education. Classroom experience KS4–KS5 and examiner-trained in board-style marking. I tutor A-Level Economics and IGCSE/GCSE Business & Economics online. My approach is blunt and practical: turn the mark scheme into habits—clear essay structures, accurate diagrams, fluent calculations, and lots of timed practice. Lesson 1 can include a diagnostic with a written plan, or we start straight on your priority topic. Sessions are 50 minutes for focus; 80-minute exam sprints available near mocks. I’m punctual, calm, and results-driven. Availability: Mon–Thu 5–9pm (UK), Sun 10–2; daytime by request. Goal: raise grades quickly with honest feedback and a repeatable method. If you want, I’ll also tighten a pricing/policies block that matches 50-minute sessions (packs, clinic, cancellation) to paste under your rates.

Qualified teacher (PGCE), BA Economics (Leicester). I coach A-Level Economics and IGCSE/GCSE Business & Economics online. First lesson can be a 50-minute diagnostic with a written plan — or we can dive straight into a target topic if you already know what you need. How I teach: examiner-style marking, high-yield timed practice, and clear structures for data-response and 25-mark essays (chains of analysis/evaluation, score-earning diagrams). For GCSE/IGCSE we drill calculations and case-study technique. Every lesson ends with 3 targets and a concise 5-line parent update. Format & length: standard 50-minute lessons; optional 90-minute exam sprints near mocks/exams. Interactive whiteboard + shared drive with model answers. Who it’s for: Years 10–13, AQA/Edexcel/OCR. Suits students aiming for A/A* or needing a structured push to jump a grade. Options: one-to-one or small groups (max 3) to increase timed practice at lower cost. Packs available (5 or 10 lessons). 24-hour cancellation policy to keep momentum.
