About Cheryl
I have always loved problem-solving, and have used Maths, not just in teaching, but in my own business as an Interior Designer. So I understand how Maths is useful for everyday skills and applications; after and outside the school environment. I would love to pass that confidence and knowledge on to students, so that they will never fear or dread the subject again, but see it as a fun challenge that they can meet, every time.

I believe in going back to the last place the student felt comfortable and confident with their skills and knowledge. Then going step by step to see where any new areas are causing concern. I don't believe in hurrying anyone, but making sure that everyone is fully understood and integrated before moving on. I want this to be a life-long skills to enhance their life skills, not just exam-worthy knowledge. We will work together step-by-step, and when the pupil feels confident, they will be able to set their own questions!
