About Rhian
Hi, I'm Rhian. A teacher and writer based in South Wales, but my sessions take place online, so you can be based anywhere in the UK.
I have a crazy dog called Albie and a 9 year old son. I am passionate about reading, writing and all things Literature. I love the feeling when all the words come together to make something really powerful. I can teach you this too! Especially if you've had your fair share of failure - I can help you succeed!
I explain things in a clear, calm and friendly way. So that all the funny words and old English aren't as daunting. I have proven methods of structuring essays that guarantee success and confidence. You will go into your exam with a tried and tested toolkit for success.

My approach combines a deep understanding of literacy development with proven strategies to improve both analytical and creative reading and writing. I create a warm, supportive and motivating environment, setting high expectations while tailoring learning to each student’s needs. Through my tutoring, students develop not only the technical skills to succeed but also the confidence and independence to excel across all areas of life. Developing a strong rapport and a caring approach are central to my teaching approach.
My lessons are 45 minutes in length and take place via Zoom. I specialise in GCSE English Language and Literature tuition.
