I have been teaching in the UK and Europe for nearly 20 years in both state schools and private schools. I have been Tutoring online for several year. My lessons combine use of online activities, drawing of physical geographic features, in-depth online inquiry into historical events and characters and good old fashioned mental maths tests, proper layout of basic calculations with sufficient repetition and verbal explanation to ensure understanding. Each lesson lasts one hour and are set for those students aged 11 - 14.
