About Niamh
Accomplished English teacher with outstanding classroom management skills and a genuine passion for teaching and helping students of all abilities reach their potential. I am an enthusiastic and conscientious teacher, always professional in appearance and manner, I have excellent communication skills and I get on well with people. I live and love to teach. Firstly I was a military instructor, then a Pilates and yoga teacher and now I teach English online.

I am an enthusiastic and conscientious tutor, always professional in manner, I have good communication skills and I get on well with people. I love to teach primary level students. I have taught in person and online for 4 years mostly in Thailand. I specialise in TEFL tutoring. I have a BA(hons) in English and Politics from Queens University Belfast.
My lessons are for primary children, ages 5 to 12years old.
When students clearly understand what’s expected of them, they’re more likely to be focused and engaged with their lessons. Some things I do to help build a positive environment include:
Model ideal behaviour: Clearly explain proper behaviour, and then follow it myself.
Encourage initiative: Allow students to actively participate in the learning process with class discussions and exercises that support the initiative.
My lessons are typically 30 minutes each.
