About Jessie
Hello! My name is Jessie, and I am currently studying a Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) / Science dual degree at the University of Queensland, specialising in biomedical science and mechatronic engineering. I also enjoy music (drums, acoustic guitar, and trumpet), boxing, indoor bouldering, and repairing broken technology and devices. I love to learn and understand new and challenging concepts, and I hope to share that with you as well. I'm very excited to work with you!

I believe the most critical part of teaching and tutoring is understanding the student's learning style and way of intaking information, as well as understanding what is causing the gap of understanding as opposed to simply reiterating what you already know. I'm looking to teach years 10-12 of high school, particularly STEM subjects including Methods, Specialist, Chemistry, Physics, Engineering, as well as music, Literature and Film, TV and New Media. I'm happy to have lessons as frequent and as long as works best for you.
