About Desteny
I graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education in 2020. I then received my Master's Degree in Educational Leadership in 2024. I currently teach 2nd grade full time but I also have experience teaching preschool and 4th grade. I love using innovative techniques when teaching reading and writing. I am trained in the Science of Reading through LETRS and look forward to implementing these practices in my lessons.

I am a graduate student in educational leadership. I teach preschool-age to adult learners how to read, spell, write, and edit. My lessons are interactive over Zoom on weekends. One-hour lessons up to twice a week are open to schedule.
