I have taught in a variety of settings, but the position I recently retired from was with the New Jersey Board of Education where I worked as a Reading Specialist for twenty years in a fifth/sixth grade school made up of a diverse student population.

I work with students to improve their phonics abilities, comprehension, vocabulary knowledge, and fluency. Sessions are designed with students' needs first and foremost and are tailored to make the biggest gains. I have experience working with elementary students, especially in grades 3 to 6.
