About Xi Yee

I'm from Malaysia, a multicultural country with three major ethnic groups. Chinese is my native language, and both my primary and secondary education were conducted in Mandarin. The school curriculum provided an in-depth understanding of the language, ensuring that my Chinese proficiency is at an advanced level. I am confident in my ability to teach Mandarin effectively and deliver a comprehensive learning experience. In addition, my secondary education also emphasized English, and my current university studies are conducted entirely in English. This bilingual background allows me to communicate fluently in both languages, ensuring I can fully understand your needs in English while teaching you effectively in Chinese.

About the lesson

I provide thoughtfully designed classes that address your individual learning needs. Each lesson emphasizes practical language application, covering Mandarin speaking, listening, reading, and writing. I will support you in mastering pronunciation, sentence structure, grammar, and vocabulary through engaging and interactive methods. Every lesson is customized to align with your objectives, whether you’re learning for travel, career, or personal growth.

The first lesson is complimentary and functions as an assessment of your current Mandarin proficiency. This session offers a thorough evaluation of your abilities, enabling me to develop a more personalized curriculum tailored to your learning requirements.
