About Avery
I graduated with a degree in Secondary English Education and worked as a writing tutor at my university for three years. Throughout both my tutoring and classroom teaching experience, I have developed a strong passion for helping students become more confident and capable writers.
For almost five years, I have worked as an English teacher, helping many students strengthen their grammar, develop thesis statements, organize essays, and improve their overall writing skills. Because I work in education every day, I understand what teachers and professors are looking for in academic writing and how to help students meet those expectations without feeling overwhelmed.
I believe writing should feel approachable, not intimidating. My goal is to create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, building confidence, and developing skills they can use independently in school and beyond.
