About Leila
My name is Leila, I graduated from Washington International School, a competitive private school, and received a diploma from the rigorous International Baccalaureate (IB) program. I am a senior at Macalester College majoring in Psychology with a minor in Women's, Gender, and Sexuality Studies. The higher level (HL) classes I completed during the IB were History of the Americas HL, Psychology HL, and English A Literature HL, all of which I am offering to tutor. Throughout my two years in the IB program, I maintained a high GPA, obtained top grades in all my classes, and received first honors during all four semesters. Additionally, I received the Graduate Psychology Award at my high school.

After two years of learning to understand and thrive in the IB program, I would love to share my knowledge with future IB graduates. I am excited to work with students and teach them complex material in a way that is compatible with their learning styles and promotes understanding. I am available to have lessons in person or virtually over Zoom, Google Video, or another platform that works best for the student. I specifically design lessons for each student that prioritize the topics and skills they would most benefit from working on, whether that is improving writing skills, understanding a specific concept, or studying techniques.
