As a recent college graduate and younger tutor, I hope to bring a lot of energy and fun to my lessons while still providing quality and professionalism! Beginner to intermediate learners!
MY TEACHING METHODS AND TECHNIQUES:
I believe that the best way to learn a language is through exposure to the various cultures associated with that language by means of music, food, traditions, etc. I hope to tie all of these components (and more!) into my tutoring sessions in order to keep my students engaged and excited to learn.
WHAT SETS ME APART FROM OTHER TUTORS?
Spanish was my second language as a child and as an adult I got my B.A. in Spanish language and Literature in order to regain some of the language that I had lost as I grew older. As a result, I have a great grasp on many of the challenges that come with learning Spanish as a second language (understanding the pronunciation of different letters/sounds in the Spanish language, understanding cultural differences/dialects, fear of speaking Spanish with native Spanish speakers, etc.). In being able to relate to many of these challenges, I bring a level of understanding and compassion to the table that I hope will help learners feel a sense of ease and comfortability as I help them work towards overcoming the obstacles that they face.
