About Cosmin
My name is Cosmin and I am a recent graduate in economics from King's College London, where I managed to obtain a first class with honours undergraduate degree and a pass with distinction at the postgraduate level. I am currently taking a break from my studies, as I am looking to apply for PhD programs in economics.
Due to my background in economics I am particularly confident in my statistics (I had to do a look of this during my dissertation). However, during my studies knowledge of all types of mathematical concepts are required.
As a home student I am also very familiar with the GCSE system, where I obtained grades between 7-9 in all my subjects, including an 8 in math. Moreover, at A level I obtained a A* in math, A* in economics, and A in history.

From my personal experiences learning and teaching others the most effective method of learning math is doing as many practice questions as possible. Especially at the GCSE (and below) level(s) the question structure is repetitive making practice questions essential.
To ensure that my students are able to complete these questions I like to employ teaching methods where I explain the rationale the steps involved in each calculation/derivation because I believe that truly understanding the subject matter is more beneficial than simply memorising some mathematical steps.
Lessons would typically be between 1-2 hours.
