About Katarina
Katarina Deric is a recent graduate of Berklee College of Music. She has spent the last fifteen years of her life mastering the guitar, which has led to her passion for music theory. She now channels her love for music through teaching guitar and theory, songwriting and playing live in the Boston area.

I tutor all levels of music theory from basic high school courses to advanced college courses. A lesson with me begins with a review of what I worked on with the student the previous week and continues with a further explanation of what the student learned in class that week. We will conclude by working on any homework assigned or creating a plan for an upcoming exam. My perspective as a recent graduate from a music college allows me to understand the mind of a student learning music theory concepts. I am passionate about relating music theory to the instrument the student plays.
