About Destiny
Hi! My name is Destiny Maldonado and I am a passionate performer and choreographer originally from Connecticut. I recently earned my BA in Dance from Dean College, where I concentrated in choreography and minored in business. During my time at Dean I created and directed works for several productions, including the Choreographer’s Concert, New Dancer Showcase, and Senior Dance Showcase.
Beyond college, I have been involved in freelance projects, including a screen dance film with Liquid Spine, a global movement series exploring the relationship between dance and the environment. She also collaborated with The Choreography Project in Providence, RI
I am deeply committed to using dance as a vehicle for storytelling, personal growth, and social change. I hope to build confidence in both younger and older dancers, to help them discover the power of movement as a form of expression and empowerment.
