About Mariana
I am a recent graduate from Liberty University in Virginia. I studied International Relations with a minor in Spanish. I am currently at an intermediate Spanish speaking level. While I do not have professional tutoring experience, I have enjoyed teaching classmates and helping others understand concepts. I am passionate about encouraging students to feel confident in the classroom and motivated to learn. I will keep in close contact with parents to understand their child's learning methods and goals.

My learning methods are first to establish what level the student is so that I can spend time efficiently each lesson. A typical lesson plan would include a concept or vocabulary list that the student wants to focus on. I would pair this with real life examples from videos, music, or book excerpts. These lessons would be catered to the level the student is at, though I am looking to teach younger learners in middle school and high school.
