About Annie
I have a deep passion for tutoring English literature, driven by my love for storytelling and the rich exploration of human experiences through texts. Engaging with students allows me to share this enthusiasm, helping them unlock the beauty and complexity of literary works. I find great joy in guiding them to develop their critical thinking and interpretative skills, fostering a deeper appreciation for the themes, characters, and language that make literature so impactful. Watching students grow in confidence and understanding, and knowing I’ve played a role in their academic journey, is incredibly rewarding.

Each lesson is specifically tailored to the needs of the student. I am here to provide anything from brushing up on the basics, to understanding course novels, to essay techniques and much more. The lessons will consist of my personal teaching, but also a lot of input and contribution from the students as learning is an action. The first lesson is always free, as we will spend this time getting to know one another and figuring out a plan of action to get you to your next achievements. Lesson times will range from 1-2 hours, once a week.
