About Jennifer
I have a BSc in Biomedical Science with Honours in Infectious Diseases from the University of Edinburgh. I also just completed an MSc in Global Health through Brighton and Sussex Medical School.
I have also worked in various cafe, administrative and charity roles so can offer an insight into the world of work to any students.

I have a BSc in Biomedical Sciences and just completed my MSc in Global Health. I have found that teaching in the sciences can be dry and uninteresting but I really believe that it can be a fascinating and fun subject. My specialty subjects are Biology and Maths, but I am also comfortable teaching chemistry up to GCSE level. In my personal life I have been involved in international development charities and I incorporated this into my Master's studies.
I understand that every student learns differently and sometimes all it takes is an alternate explanation for something to really click. I will take the time to get to know my students and how to tutor them in a way which works for them. I'm a great believer in the importance of building up confidence in students.
I am a creative and approachable person and I will aim to make tutoring sessions enjoyable as well as educational. I will set milestone targets so the student can see the progress they are making and feel a sense of achievement.
