My style of teaching is very much individual to the student - I am able to provide a very structured approach or simply help with this week's homework. I can give lessons to KS3 and GCSE in Maths, English, Sciences (Triple and Double Award), History and some French. I can also help with AS and A2 Maths, History and Biology.
I like to teach with diagrams full of colours, drawings, flash cards and little quizzes to make sure they learn the subject and remember important content. I know sometimes content can be heavy so I like to break it down so students can digest it and understand the whole picture.
Ideally I like to have a preliminary meeting with my students and discuss what it is they wish to build on based on their current needs, I then create the lessons based around this - bringing in real-world examples so that students can apply their knowledge. I have used worksheets, powerpoint presentations and quick-fire quizzes successfully in the past, depending on the student's learning styles.
Usually, my students tell me about the areas they are struggling in and help them in that specific area. I would also go through the syllabus of the subject and make sure they understand each aspect of it. When they have class tests, I would help them prepare on the topic beforehand and if they have any questions after a test, I would help them go through the answers.
My teaching method includes an initial meeting with the student to get a sense of areas that are lacking. Then forming an action plan that takes into account the student's learning style as well as the areas that need improvement. Each lesson will end with 15 min MCQ styled question To help consolidate the topic focus of the day.
I base my lessons on a pre-evaluation of the student current knowledge to make emphasis on the hot spots to develop and the ones already known that require an in-dept knowledge. According to the subject and objectives I make a mix of lecturing and hands-on labs, tests are related to static knowledge and think out-of-the-box questions or assignments.
I like to focus my lessons on making sure the student has a good knowledge and understanding of the topic and then applying these to exam questions which we will go through together in the lessons. From my personal experience as a student and tutor, this is the best way to excel in the sciences.
My teaching is tailored to each individual student, as every one learns differently. I provide concise, detailed notes per lesson for the student to keep, and also a copy of the relevant specification. I also provide relevant diagrams to aid understanding.
I have various teaching methods, each catered to each individual If you are a visual learner - we can draw diagrams and make posters all that cover each aspect required to help you learn and achieve those high grades If you are an auditory learner - then we can make videos and playlist and involve fun methods that will cover every bit of the syllabus to make it more approachable If you are a...

My teaching methodology primarily uses an iPad to draw out concepts/processes to help individuals understand a topic. I have an extensive background in Biology and Chemistry and therefore have a good knowledge in most subjects. I ask my tutees to inform me what they want to be taught prior so I can prepare lessons for them.
The learning process that works completely depends on each student. I start with the basis of a clear explanation, coherent notes and a system to test the knowledge over time with exam style questions. After that, the lesson can be as practical or theoretical as the student feels comfortable and interested.
