I base my lessons on a pre-evaluation of the student current knowledge to make emphasis on the hot spots to develop and the ones already known that require an in-dept knowledge. According to the subject and objectives I make a mix of lecturing and hands-on labs, tests are related to static knowledge and think out-of-the-box questions or assignments.
Ideally I like to have a preliminary meeting with my students and discuss what it is they wish to build on based on their current needs, I then create the lessons based around this - bringing in real-world examples so that students can apply their knowledge. I have used worksheets, powerpoint presentations and quick-fire quizzes successfully in the past, depending on the student's learning styles.
I adapt my teaching style to the individual needs and strengths of each student as I believe that teaching in a more flexible way allows students to gain understanding of topics faster. I am happy to tutor students of all abilities as long as they are willing to engage with the sessions.
I like to put the student at the centre of their own learning, creating personalised resources and lessons which best suit each pupil's strengths and preferred learning style. Sessions focusing on exam technique to get the best out of your answers can also be provided.

I like to make my classes visual and entertaining as I feel that is the way to remember things! I enjoy doing fun quizzes and summary notes which help with the revision process. This is the methodology that I use for my own studying which took me to be the first in my class in my first year of medical school.
My teaching method involves first securing the most basic knowledge of a student in order to provide a solid foundation on which to lay down more complicated ideas and apply exam techniques
My teaching methods are largely based on active learning. I expect students to take initiative.
I use the textbook approach, depending on which examination board it is. I also find that the Q&A style works quite well too, where if you are in doubt I will be able to clarify your doubts for you.
I want to teach and tutor other students who are struggling and may need help with GCSE Biology. I also want to give tips and advice to students about my own experience and how they can use tips and avoid certain things and the ways to revise effectively especially for Biology.
