About Theo
I am a passionate scientist working on the development of antivirals at King's College London . With my undergraduate background in engineering, I have a good foundation in quantitative subjects beside in natural sciences. I was a teaching and research assistant at the University of Indonesia where I encouraged and enabled students for their chosen subjects. I find joy in teaching and aspire to do it full-time in the future.

I always start my tutoring with some conversations to get to know each other before talking about academic matters. Usually in the first or second meeting, I will have acknowledged student's ability for a particular subject. I like to teach with the mixture of theory and problem solving with short break in between. This session can last to 1 or 1.5 hours. Prior to my MSc at King's College London, I spent 5 years as a part-time tutor in Indonesia for students in elementary to high school (both public and private schools). Those sessions covered our national curriculum and international program such as A-level and IGCSE. I maintained close communication with students' parents too to report their progress.
