About Ned
I am an energetic and enthusiastic 22 year-old, currently pursuing a music career as a singer-songwriter. When I was 17 I became heavily obsessed with both English and History, and I'm the kind of person who always has a book on the go. I've been tutoring various subjects since my final year of University, and love to share my enthusiasm for studying with them. When I'm not teaching or playing music, I am highly sporty and love to cook, hike with friends and travel.

My teaching methodology is based around setting small goals, achieving them, and then moving on and growing. I aim to inspire confidence and enjoyment in my students. I have 2 years of experience tutoring, and have taught various subjects in this time. My lessons are for students of all levels, whether you want to push for top marks or if you are struggling for confidence. I have stellar academic record, scoring 12A*s at GCSE; D1, A and A at A-Level (English, History, Maths), and a top-ten First in History at Oxford.

Ned has a flawless grasp of the English language and a passion for creative writing and teaching. I'd strongly recommend him as a tutor for his enthusiasm, empathy and his deep familiarity with the educational framework in the UK.
Having known Ned for years I know that he would be a fantastic tutor. He is extremely patient and a great listener with great sensitivity and empathy. I am convinced any tutee would feel comfortable and relaxed learning with him.
Ned tutors my son for English literature and English Language GCSE. He is well prepared, insightful and my son’s grades have significantly improved since we started. Ned makes the sessions structured and tailored towards the exam requirements. I warmly recommend this super tutor!
