About Francis
I achieved a 1st in physics at Lancaster University, as well as an A* and A at A-level in maths and physics, respectively. I have a passion for science and science communication. I love how science, specifically physics, builds a framework through which one can understand our universe. I am interested in the theory, the experimental process and the stories of the men and women who furthered scientific knowledge. I hope that I can teach students so that they can understand the concepts, but also learn to appreciate how these concepts were determined.

Looking to help 15-18 year olds with physics and maths, aiming for 30-60 minute lessons. For physics, I shall aim to help students understand physical concepts through a deeper understanding of the fundamentals of physics, through visuals and metaphors. I have 3 years of experience as a postgraduate teaching assistant in 1st year undergraduate physics labs.
