About Ethan
I am a first year college student who is enthusiastic about all things maths related. So as much as i enjoy doing maths myself, I equally cherish all opportunities to help people complete the challenge of a maths question. I am what some may consider to be a typical teenage boy however i seek to remain constantly active. Whether that be mentally or physically. I believe this can come essential in my tutor sessions as actively learning is essential to understand maths and all things we learn. Therefore,I believe my passion and attentiveness can reflect on the student.

As i am a younger tutor i feel as if it comes easier for me to form a connection with students. This allows students to feel comfortable around me immediately easing pressure as well as it making it easier for them communicate with me. Despite my younger age i have previous experience working with children at a school allowing me to understand that different students require different approaches to learning, which i am more than happy to alter my sessions towards.

Really trustworthy and understanding person, Ethan didn’t personally help me but I know he supported many of my friends with their maths throughout the tough times of GCSE. He gave them confidence in their ability through both encouragement and helpful tips in order for them to succeed and get the grades the want and deserve. If I were in the position of wanting a kind and friendly tutor to support me in my maths ability throughout the tough period of year 10 and 11 Ethan would definitely be my first choice.
