About Hattie
I am an encouraging, friendly individual who is passionate about languages and excited about the prospect of sharing my French skills. Languages are a really hard subject so I am looking to encourage the students by using a fun, dynamic teaching style that will hopefully show how fantastic it can be getting to grips with a whole new language. I have a lot of experience with French - having studied it for GCSE's, A-levels and at university - as well as living in France for 6 months. This latter experience taught me popular slang and contractions that are used day-today there which I would pass on to the students who want to improve their spoken fluency. I am happy to tutor all ages and levels, up to university - I have teaching experience with children from the ages of 5 up to 28 from my role as a gymnastics instructor.
