About Eliane
I graduated in Anthropology at PUC-SP and I am currently completing my Ph.D. I was a high school teacher for a period of 1 ½ years (activity interrupted by the doctorate). In addition, I lived for 10 months in California, United States.

I am an anthropologist with a master's degree and PhD in the completion phase. The classes are indicated for three groups of students: 1. Elementary and middle school students who present general studies issues or specific difficulties in the Humanities area (Sociology, History and Philosophy). 2. Adults interested in Humanities. 3. Children, young people or adults at a beginner level who want to practice the English language. My methodology consists in bringing concepts and facts addressed in the area of humanities to the daily experiences of the student. For this, I carry out reading activities, questioning, conversation, and use of external materials, like films. In relation to the reinforcement in English, I try to establish dialogues and brief readings according to students interests.
