About Gabriella
I recently obtained a PGCE with QTS on the subject of Religious Education and have been training to teach both online and in the classroom throughout the past academic year (2019/2020). I have a passion for Philosophy and therefore aim to influence students through a philosophical lens in order to grasp different perspectives of religious occurrences. I have been giving private lessons on the subject of Religious Studies for the past year whilst undergoing my PGCE. I have a degree in Art & Philosophy from the University of Reading securing the fact that I am open to exploring topics layer by layer, unravelling core beliefs.

My teaching method is both teacher and student centred, whereby the teacher facilitates knowledge which the student then reflects on and presents their opinion. Positive feedback is regularly given to the student to indicate where they are at in their learning, as well as to encourage them to continue flourishing on the topic of study. I base my classes on the structure of the intended curriculum and provide further help on areas in which students are struggling to comprehend the topic at hand. I approach each topic through layered learning, revisiting the key learning points in order to ensure that students have wholly understood the content.
