About Oscar
Teaching Spanish has allowed me to meet and guide many enthusiastic learners over the past 13+ years. During this time, I have successfully taught around 150 High School and College students, helping them achieve stronger language skills through personalised instruction. My teaching philosophy focuses on building confidence first because confident students learn more effectively.
I design lessons that strengthen grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, speaking, reading, writing, and listening. Every class combines explanation with practical application through conversations, activities, quizzes, and regular revision. I encourage students to use Spanish naturally instead of simply memorising rules.
A major achievement in my teaching career has been seeing students improve their grades while becoming comfortable communicating in Spanish. Their growth reminds me that patience and encouragement can make a significant difference in the learning process.
I believe education should be inspiring and enjoyable. My goal is to create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and continuously improving. Through dedication and teamwork, I help students build language skills that will benefit them throughout their academic and professional lives.

I focus on teaching Spanish in a way that is student-centred, interactive, and practical. Integrity guarantees that lessons are honest, fair, and adapted to each student’s strengths and challenges.
I embrace Flexibility, adapting lesson plans, exercises, and teaching strategies to accommodate different learning styles, proficiency levels, and personal goals. Communication is central; I encourage active participation, conversation, and interactive exercises to help students internalise grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation.
A Positive environment motivates learners, celebrates achievements, and fosters confidence. I also integrate related subjects such as literature, grammar, vocabulary, and cultural studies to provide practical context and enrich learning. My goal is to help students achieve fluency, confidence, and a lasting passion for Spanish.
