About Mikayla
My approach to tutoring is centred around patience, encouragement, and building confidence. I believe every student learns differently, so I tailor each lesson to their individual needs, learning style, and goals. I create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes, as this is often where the most effective learning takes place.

Lessons typically last 60 minutes, although I can offer 45-minute or 90-minute sessions depending on the student's age and learning needs.
I have two years of tutoring experience, teaching both English and Maths to students at KS2 and KS3 level. During this time, I have supported students with homework, exam preparation, and improving their overall confidence and academic performance.
My lessons are suitable for students aged 7–14, including those who need extra support, wish to strengthen their understanding of key concepts, or are aiming to achieve higher grades. My goal is not only to improve results but also to help every student become a more confident, independent learner.
