About Jasdeep
I am an academic researcher in the field of biotechnology and am currently based at Imperial College London (ranked 2nd in the world). I've worked and studied in the field of biotechnology for over 10 years and have hands-on experience in designing and conducting experiments. In the laboratory, I've supervised both undergraduate and masters students, and have been keen to apply my knowledge to online tutoring to support students who wish to learn about the field - in both an academic setting, and out of general interest. I have relevant qualifications in the field (BSc, MSc, and PhD) and have been employed as a researcher in the field for the last 2-3 years. I've routinely been asked to give presentations to school children to inspire them to enter into the field of science. This has included talks at international conferences, career days, and after school extracurricular sessions.

Lessons are suitable for GCSE, A-Level, Undergraduate or Masters. Lessons will be done as 1 hour Zoom calls, and techniques will focus using short burst sessions of teaching for 10 minutes, followed by 5 minutes of testing to enhance understanding of key topics throughout the session to maintain engagement.
