About Darren
I am a Research Fellow in Natural Language Processing (NLP) at City, University of London, with a diverse academic background that bridges psychology and engineering. I hold a PhD in Electrical Engineering from the University of Liverpool and undergraduate and master's degrees in psychology. My passion lies in exploring challenges in the social sciences through a computational and scientific lens. With experience teaching undergraduate psychology and mentoring engineering students, I specialise in topics such as large language model (LLM) development, Python programming, and advanced machine learning techniques. I aim to make complex concepts accessible and empower students to achieve their academic and professional goals.
