About Pauline
Hi! My name is Pauline and I've been working as a researcher at the University of Manchester for four years, where I conduct epidemiological mental health research. I was awarded a BSc Psychology (1st Class) and a MSc Forensic Psychology and Mental Health (Distinction). I have extensive experience of conducting both quantitative and qualitative analysis, presenting at conferences, and have published my work in peer-reviewed journals. I also currently teach on a MSc Forensic Psychology course. I am incredibly passionate about research and all its aspects, from ethics to stats to write up to dissemination, and would therefore love to support younger people.

I am happy to help A-level, BSc and MSc Psychology students with proofreading essays, dissertations, and applications for Psychology courses, quantitative analysis using SPSS or Stata, and qualitative analysis using NVivo. I am a big stats nerd and can help anyone struggling with basic or advanced statistical concepts, and help you run your statistical analyses and make sure you are able to interpret these. I can also help with research presentations for your current course or for course applications/interviews.
Lessons are typically an hour to an hour and a half long. Depending on your needs, I will review your essay/dissertation/statistical analysis/presentation ahead of the lesson and we will discuss any comments/feedback I may have together, or run the statistical analysis together.
