About Thomas
I finished school in 1975 with 8 GCE O Levels and 3 A Levels after which I studied for my degree in Mechanical Engineering which I passed with Honours.I entered the Aerospace industry in 1981 until my retirement in 2016/17.I am a retired Aerospace Stress Engineer with over 35 years of analysing structures on different aircraft
My job has required me to work in UK, Europe, USA and Canada

I follow the current GCSE syllabus and try to help the students enjoy learning and relate it to everyday situations
I impress on students that practice is the way to improve and get to grips with the subject. Practical examples where I can use my experience of engineering situations is a great way to keep students focused
