I retired from the classroom almost 15 years ago. I based my lessons on what the student knows and what their strengths are. I believe that their interests are very important,. and we work on positives and build for success.

I have 20 years of teaching experience in elementary, middle and high school so, I can tailor my lessons for just about any school level. Reading, writing and literature were my strongest areas of teaching. My lesson plans are built around a specific goal or concept and the lesson draws upon the interests of the students. At the end of the lesson the goal is evaluated to see how well the concept was grasped by the student.
I uses a "real world" approach to my teaching that builds on the interests of the student.
