About Madeline
I have had a very successful teaching career that has spanned more that fifty years. I have taught everything from Kindergarten to University. Over the years, I have always been very actively involved with student organizations, sponsoring peer-tutoring clubs, school social and community organization, and volunteering for countless school activities.
On many occasions, I took small groups of students to Mexico to study and to Europe on Educational tours. For several years, I alternated with summer travel groups and summer study groups, taking students one year to Mexico to take classes for High School and College, then taking student the next year on tours to different European countries.

My philosophy towards tutoring is that each session is determined by the student's Individualized lesson plan that student and I, the tutor, work out together, based on what that particular student's needs, wants and final achievement goals are. Each session is planned and executed with the student's specific goals and objectives in mind, as ascertained through initial questions, answers, and informal assessments; changing as the student's needs change. Each student is an active participant in his or her own learning plan and success.
