About Benjamin
I am a passionate Guitar tutor with 10 years of teaching experience, specializing in teaching Guitar to college students. I believe learning music should be enjoyable, practical, and confidence-building. My main goal is to help students not only play the guitar well but also truly understand music and express themselves through it.
My teaching style is student-focused and flexible. I understand that every student learns differently, so I adapt my lessons based on individual goals, skill levels, and musical interests. Whether a student wants to play for fun, perform on stage, or compose their own music, I guide them step by step with patience and clarity.
I use innovative teaching methods such as structured practice plans, play-along tracks, and real song-based learning. Instead of only focusing on theory, I encourage students to apply concepts directly on the guitar. I also use chord progressions, fingerstyle exercises, strumming patterns, and rhythm training to build strong foundations.
To keep lessons engaging, I include ear training, improvisation, and creative exercises. I help students develop timing, tone control, and confidence while playing. I also support students in understanding different music styles like pop, rock, blues, and acoustic guitar.
I believe in creating a friendly and motivating learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes. With consistent guidance and positive encouragement, I help students grow into confident guitar players who enjoy their musical journey.
