About Luke
I am a rising senior at New Milford High School (NJ) planning on majoring going down a pre-law requisite in college, and then attending law school following undergrad. I have a great understanding of history - scoring a 5 on the APUSH exam, and a 4 on the AP Gov exam. Additionally, I won the honors history award for the Modern World History class my freshman year of high school. More importantly than these achievements, I have a strong work ethic, and desire to help students achieve knowledge through academic rigor.

I have good communicative skills, and am willing to go a long way to develop interpersonal relationships with students, and help them form a nuanced understanding of the current world around them by educating them on the history of what's made our nation this way. I am interested in teaching American history/politics on all levels, and will teach any lesson taking any perspective into account without promoting any of my own specific ideals/beliefs. That being said, I'm willing to discuss my perspective/viewpoints to help students develop their own understanding/viewpoints of social/political nuance regarding American history.
