About Emily
Confidence grows through steady technical growth. Vocal clarity is key. Since I am a working choir director, I use my 5 years of training to troubleshoot your unique sound.
We will tackle belting technique alongside the fundamentals of breath and posture. I often share tips I gathered during my degree to help you navigate tricky passages. You will receive custom homework vocal drills assigned after every session to solidify your progress.
It is quite rewarding to hear a student finally hit that high note with ease. The process of building a healthy, versatile voice is truly fun.

Singing gives me a way to share the discipline I learned at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland. Vocal health is vital. I spend my days working with choristers and choral scholars who need technical precision.
Over 5 years of teaching, I have helped many classical voice students prepare for their big conservatory auditions. I enjoy guiding self-taught players who want more structure in their practice. Returning learners find my approach to genre styling for pop or musical theatre very grounded.
I incorporate breathing control and sight singing into our routine. Managing stage fear is a standard part of what I offer to those who struggle with performance anxiety. Warming up is non-negotiable in my studio space. I love seeing the progress my students make.
