About Ruby
- What kind of experience do you have?
I am currently teaching practical voice at the Birmingham conservatiore to acting students as well as private tutoring. I have had work experience at the BOA academy in Birmingham, as well as teaching students privately and holding voice workshops for peers at the Birmingham School of Acting.
I have also had experience taking educational workshops in a Birmingham based school.
- Do you have an up-to-date DBS (Disclosure & Barring Service, formerly CRB) Certificate?
I have an up to date Enhanced DBS check.

I have a 1st class BA (Hons) Degree in Musical Theatre.
I have studied a Masters degree at the Birmingham School of Acting as a Professional Voice Practitioner.
- How much do you charge?
The first consultation will be free, and following this, all lessons will be £30 per hour for each individual.
- Where do you teach?
I hold lessons at my home, but can travel to students' homes depending on location. (Travel fees will be charged).
- When are you available?
Availability will vary. Contact me for more information.
- Which ages and levels do you teach?
I can teach all ages.

Communication through speech and singing is one of the most important skills we hold.
It is vital that we can use our voice to its full potential, in order to engage and communicate effectively.
