The most important aspect to remember in art is there is no right or wrong. No matter what you get told, only personal opinions can get in the way. I do not believe you can teach art as such, but instead find a solution that will open up possibilities and answers for the artist. There is no good technique are bad technique, it is what works for the individual.
I have a pupil focused approach where I use the students musical tastes to influence what songs we practice and what areas we focus on. If a student wants to sing one song really well - we work on that. If a student wants to learn how to front a rock band - we work on that. It’s not just about the notes but the whole performance.
I like to support children in their best way of learning. If they learning better at reading, we can do this, practical - offer extra calculations etc. I take in to consideration learning speed and offer full support where necessary on subjects they struggle with most. If they need more time, we can do this.
- What kind of experience do you have? I have experience of Voice and Accent teaching to both undergraduate and postgraduate Acting students at drama schools such as Rose Bruford College and the Bridge Theatre Training Company in London. Before completing my MA, I had taught Drama and Performing Arts for 27 years.
I approach every study, starting from the simple to the complex. This way, I can easily identify the points where students begin to slow down and then carry them along. I also use real, everyday activities to drive home the main points. This way, it is easier for students to understand.
First order topics in priority based on students strengths. Then practice is the key to learning.
No matter what age you are - a school student or an adult, I can help you. We can have skype sessions and I can teach through voice and written notes. Hourly lessons every week will enhance your understanding and we can monitor the process, which will help me understand how to help you in the correct way for you to get a 100% out of these lessons. English is a very beautiful language.
My teaching method varies according to the person being taught. Most importantly, the focus would be on understanding rather than wrote learning. I help to create an enthusiasm for the subject if needed and encourage engagement at every level of learning.
My teaching methods depend on the age group, level, and students' personalities and preferences. If you are a 4 year old you can expect a lot of fun games and songs :) (TPR-total physical response), but if you are a grown up then we would be working more seriously, but also in a fun and entertaining way so you always keep your interest in learning English.
I am a fully qualified Science teacher who has taught Biology, Chemistry and Physics to GCSE and Biology at A level. I am very relaxed and adaptable to a students needs, tailoring my teaching technique to suit. I have a huge wealth of resources at hand to help.
It depends hugely on what help the student needs in this area. I will try to assess this quickly and aid where I can. Practice interviews as well as help with personal statements and admissions tests are available. I am happy to help where I can.
My teaching method is to initially assess the standard of the student before using my personal notes and questions to improve their grades. I believe that an understanding of how something works is much better then just parrot fashion learning and thus approach every subject in this manner.
My teaching method is based on my study of the main music pedagogical approaches. I try to cultivate the joy of music in my students by following their musical taste and planning lesson appropriately.
My teaching method is based on encouraging students to think outside the box as it is often easy to focus on memory rather than fully understanding the topic.
My method has emphasis on firstly getting you to know what things are healthy & good to eat, then how to cook these foods followed by how to make meals from them. I teach you in your kitchen so you are familar with all the equipment & utensiles.

My Name is Aiysha (pronounced I-ESHA) I give tuition to students who want to push and achieve high results in English (both literature and language). I teach primary to secondary school students in both areas of examinations and improving grades throughout school life.
My method of teaching is optional to the student. They may rather discuss the monologue selection and the intention of the piece to gain a better understanding or they may wish to show their piece and receive professional advice on performance techniques.
My teaching style is based on the communicative approach, enabling students to embed their learning through practising real life examples. During the first lesson I will take time to understand the student´s objectives and assess their level of proficiency in the language. This will allow me to adapt the classes to suit the needs of the student.
My teaching method would be to start with finding what the student finds easiest and most difficult within the subject and then coming up with a plan to target those areas. I am a visual learner so I find that using pictures, videos and acronyms are particularly useful, for example a Geography case study can be shown through a documentary or youtube clip.
1.Tell 2. Show 3.Do The most important thing is the movement of the joint and not the amount of weight. And that is what I would love to teach. You can reach high goals and have a healthy body at the same tome.
I can cater my teaching for any level from absolute beginner to professional. I like to teach through a mixture of lecturing and hands on experience - preferably in the great outdoors where the subtleties and challenges of plant identification and the patterns of botany can be experienced first hand.
I am very interactive in my teaching where possible, helping my students to either see through images, videos or props. I believe this style of teaching attracts more attention from my students and thus they are more likely to remember the knowledge I will be teaching them.
I have a strong belief in giving people the tools to be able to do things for themselves. I love the reward from seeing other peoples achievements. I am also able to direct people in the right direction to be able to work through a problem to a solution.
Hi I am a 2nd year student at University of Worcester. I am 20 years old. I speak Italian since I was 6 years old. I went to an Italian kindergarten, primary school and high school. Italian is almost my mother tongue. My methods depend on the person wishes and needs.
Latin can seem like one of the hardest languages to get your head around. It’s my opinion that it requires a harmony of two styles of learning: formal grammar learning and immersive translations. I obtained 2 A*s at GCSE: one in Language and one in Literature, and am studying for my A level, so feel confident tutoring up to GCSE level.
I've tutored a few students before, and as an avid reader, think that I could definitely help anyone who wants to improve their reading speed or quality.
We will work on both speech development and theory, and delivery with style. I have tutored mostly in academic subjects previously, although have won two debate competitions including highly stylised rounds. The most important thing to work on is confidence and spoken expression - you may have the best speech in the world but without the right presentation it’ll sound like nothing.
I've tutored a few students before, particularly to develop the way you think about texts, to try and score the highest marks in high-pressure exams. There will be some learning off-by-heart but mostly I'll help your essays, your point development and enhancing what you say.
I've taught children from reception age up to Year 11 in modern foreign languages (specifically French) and in science/biology. I'm an intuitive and empathetic person, and able to get children to engage in learning with ease, and I'm easy to get along with which is crucial for engagement.
