About Satish Kumar
Hey! I am Satish Kumar Sahoo, a self-taught artist from India. I have been painting for the last 4 years. I work with pencils and watercolors. I like to paint the interplay of light and shadows, and contrasts in the daily mundane stuff I come across. I take my utmost pleasure in teaching people to paint the beautiful surroundings around us and be more observant. Anybody who is interested to learn is most welcome, irrespective of their gender, age, profession, or nationality. To have a look at my portfolio of artworks, don't hesitate to reach out to me. My approach to teaching people:
1. To get to know the person (their intention and drive to learn) and their stage (beginner, intermediate, advanced).
2. I teach watercolors and sketching.
3. I try to put the thought process behind each stroke rather than the outcome of the painting itself.
4. I believe I usually succeed in understanding the person's doubts and clearing them with a simplistic approach.
5. Anybody (school children, college level, adults, job professionals, senior citizens) is welcome to join my classes.
