About Raymond
I am a Graduate, and hold a BSc in Science and Technology. I worked in a University Physics Research Department for 14 years, before training as a teacher, gaining my PGCE, and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). I taught in Secondary School, 11-18yrs.
I no longer teach in Schools, choosing to work in a completely different sector, still helping others. My passion for helping both children and adults achieve their full potential has never gone away. I have tutored Functional skills to adults on a 1:1 basis, as well a more recently moving into online tutoring. I am TEFL qualified, and enjoy being able to help others achieve success, and reach their goals in life. "You're never too old to learn".

For my Online GCSE Students, I usually tutor on a 1:1 basis, or in groups of up to 5. I like to ask students individually, what areas of the subject you have difficulty with, and then I can plan my lessons accordingly. Lessons are typically 45 minutes, and I also set Homework to reinforce the learning.
My TEFL students are usually adults, and I need to know what level of English you are at currently, and what your expectations are for the future. Do you just want conversational English, or are you looking to take IELTS exams, and access Higher Education courses.
I am very approachable, patient, and have a Tutor email address so you can contact me between lessons, if you get stuck.
