About Yinka
I am confident in my ability to create a stimulating, engaging and inclusive learning environment that foster students’ mathematical skills and cultivate their passion for the subject. I am excited to make great contribution to the achievement of learners academic goals. I am dedicated and result oriented. In my previous position, I successfully increased student achievement by 40% on average, as measured by standardized test scores. By implementing continuous formative assessment and providing individualized feed-backs, I was able to identify students’ strengths and weaknesses, allowing me to tailor my instruction accordingly. This data-driven approach not only enhanced students’ understanding of math but also fostered a sense of achievement and confidence among my students.

I implement various teaching practices such scaffolding practices, oral and interaction feedback practices, as well hands-on-learning approach. I strive to make math accessible and engaging to students at all levels. Moreover, my strong classroom management skills enable me to effectively manage classroom activities and maintain a positive learning environment. My typical lesson length is 1hour 20 minutes.I have a masters degree in science education and a bachelor's degree in chemistry education. My lesson is for both pupils and students ages 6-18 years.
