About Olivia
My name is Miss Austin and I absolutely love science! My goal as a teacher is to make everyone else love science too! Now, I know most people think science is tough, but I’m here to show you it’s not as tough as you think, and more than that - it can be really fun and interesting too! After all of that if you still don’t think science is fun, I will ensure that I at least explain things in a way that YOU understand so it is accessible!

Being so enthusiastic about science means it is my priority to make science accessible and fun for everyone! When I am teaching fundamental concepts I make these as relatable and relevant to students as possible to ensure science becomes useful and fun for them. I have attended lectures specific to teaching science to students with SEND so am confident in adapting my lessons to each individual as everyone learns in different ways.
