About Mamet

It's been 15 years that I am playwright and script writer, and it's been three years that I'm teaching play writing, script writing and creative writing in university and also in workshops outside of the Art university. I have worked with Royal Court Theater of London and I have wrote more than 20 plays and more than 6 script.

About the lesson

My teaching method is based on growing the storytelling skills. So in first steps we will work on writing a good, strong sketch for the plot and for next step preparing the plot. After everybody completed fifty percent of the plot, we move forward to learn how can we transform the plot into script. We will learn visual elements of script and how we can tell our stories in visual method which is suitable for cinema instead of dialogue which is good for theater.

I highly recommend Mamet for playwriting. I know Mamet for years, you can see his passion for playwriting through everything he does. He is gifted and he has sharpened his skills over years and now he is tutoring which means his skills are available to others to learn from.
He is a patient teacher with a good sense of humour which put you on ease. I found him always happy to go the extra mile to make sure the job is properly executed in the best possible quality.
