About Charolina
My fingers find the strings through years of pickin' parties and traditional tunes learned by ear in the hills of Appalachia. With a BFA in Music Performance, I offer a blend of electric and acoustic technique that bridges the gap between old-school feel and modern demands. I work with advanced learners and grade exam candidates who need to master power chords, scales, and complex chord transitions.
My 13 years of experience allow me to troubleshoot even the most stubborn lead guitar issues during our sessions. I enjoy seeing adult students realize their potential by refining their tuning and maintenance routines.
My background is rooted in the session-fluent playing of traditional music. I hold a clear vision for how your hands should move across the fretboard. You will find my teaching style direct, calm, and focused on building a solid, reliable foundation.
