About Jesse
Hi, I'm Jesse Samson, a seasoned pianist and music educator with over 28 years of experience. I began studying piano at age 5 with perfect pitch discovered at 6. I was classically trained for 10+ years, graduated from the Los Angeles County High School for the Arts, and attended Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA majoring in songwriting. I toured with a few bands all along the Northeast coast before moving back to Los Angeles where I did session recording for the Black Veil Brides, and taught piano lessons to a founding member of Linkin' Park. Currently, I am the keyboard player and backup vocalist for a Huntington Beach cover band, and teach lessons at various music schools based around the Los Angeles and Orange County areas.

I tailor every session to your personalized needs covering music theory, ear training, songwriting, improvisation, and more. I can also help you look for patterns and consistencies within musical assignments and scores in order to comprehend the selected work, and translate the patterns into songwriting techniques that can be utilized to further your own musical compositions.
