About Kourosh
I'm a medical student at the University of Edinburgh with a passion for both science and teaching. Biology has always been one of my favourite subjects, and I enjoy helping students build confidence by making challenging concepts easy to understand.
Alongside my studies, I'm a high-level competitive swimmer. I previously represented Great Britain as a junior internationally and now compete at university level, where I've won a BUCS medal and am proud to be among the UK's top student swimmers. Balancing elite sport with medicine has taught me discipline, organisation, and effective study techniques that I enjoy sharing with my students.
Outside of studying and training, I enjoy spending time with friends, my girlfriend and treating myself to a good Chinese takeaway after a hard week! I also love memes a lot hehe

I'm a medical student with a strong passion for biology and helping others learn. Having recently studied the subject myself, I understand the challenges students face and know how to explain complex topics in a clear, engaging, and memorable way.
My lessons are tailored to each student's goals, whether that's building confidence, improving understanding, or achieving top grades in GCSE or A-Level Biology and Chemistry. I have previous experience teaching science to younger students in a science student leadership role.
I aim to create a supportive and encouraging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and developing confidence in their abilities. Whether you're aiming to pass your exams or achieve the highest grades, I'll work with you to help you reach your full potential.
