About Jemima
Having always had a thirst for knowledge, I have grown to love the ability to express my understanding through written and oral communication. As a law student, I have witnessed how strong literary skills can help certain individuals excel, while those without struggle to stay afloat. I believe it is a great tragedy that many students in high school and beyond believe they are not as academically capable as their peers, when, in reality, they merely struggle with the expression of their knowledge. Having accessed several professional opportunities years before my peers, I have, and continue to, enjoy the fruits of strong written and oral communication skills, ultimately desiring to impart them on others.

I strongly believe literary skills are required beyond assignments and exams. I will work with students to discover the root cause of their oral and written communication struggles. I will do this by creating a personalized plan to strengthen each student’s overall literary skill set, focusing on any weaknesses, and further building existing strengths. While such skills can be used in the short term to achieve higher grades, I am most passionate about their invaluable capacity to lead to long-term personal and professional success.
