About Monei
Hello there! I’m Monei, and I’m currently a second-year international medical student studying in the UK.
Having been an enlisted tutor at my old high school after completing my A-level exams, tutoring mainly GCSE and A-level candidates, I found enjoyment and passion teaching concepts in Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics, while also creating positive outcomes in terms of understanding and results for the students involved.
I enjoy breaking down complex concepts into simpler, more digestible explanations, and providing highly personalised lessons, with extra materials to aid studying at no additional cost. As such, I decided to join Superprof so I could continue to carry on this work, and help students achieve academic success, confidence in studies and realise their potential.
Whether you need help in exam prep, or just need extra support, I’ll be here to guide you every step of the way!

The subjects I cover are Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics (GCSE & A-level, or lower).
The lessons will be delivered as interactive online sessions, with clear and concise explanations, catch-up questions, problem solving, and exercises tailored to your specific needs. I will deliver the lessons in a friendly and patient teaching style, giving you opportunities to ask questions whenever needed.
You don't need to have a high learning speed; I'll go at whichever pace you feel is the most comfortable. Once I get an idea of your strengths and weaknesses, you'll get a personalised learning and lesson plan to guide you on the best approach to becoming more confident with the material. This plan will include practice questions, flashcards, exam-style problems and revision strategies. Other supplementary materials like notes, summaries and past-paper walkthroughs can also be provided.
During the lesson, concepts will be explained in a step-by-step manner, to ensure you grasp them properly, and questions will be asked at intervals to verify your understanding.
Who are these lessons for? Mainly for GCSE and A-level students who are looking for exam prep, or concept reinforcement, need clarity in complex topics or want a structured learning and study plan with associated techniques to improve their results. Lessons will typically be an hour, but I can adjust this based on your needs. All lessons will be done online through mainly Zoom. If requested, alternate platforms such as Google Meet/Cisco Webex can be used as well.
