About Leona
I am a classically trained violinist but have dabbled in traditional/folk music. I have been playing violin for 24 years and teaching for about 10 of them. I also play viola, piano, saxophone and guitar but my world has always revolved around my violin whether it be performing or teaching.
I have prepared students towards ABRSM exams, I have some experience with Trinity exams and Scottish school curriculum requirements so can provide the needed support to get a good grade.

I always start lessons with a conversation getting to know what the expectation/dream is with the lessons making sure you are learning in a way that keeps you engaged and wanting to practice. I've been there when I didn't enjoy my lessons and it sucked the life out of music and I'd hate for that to happen to anyone else!
I am a firm believer in do what you love and love what you do.
